Tyler, The Creator Goes On Twitter Rampage Following Drake Backlash

Los Angeles, CA – Tyler, The Creator isn’t pleased with some of the concertgoers who attended his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival over the weekend. On Sunday night (November 10), Drake appeared onstage at the Dodger Stadium as a surprise guest, drawing boos from the crowd who’d expected to see Frank Ocean.

The Odd Future vet took to Twitter on Monday (November 11) to give those who gave Drake a hard time a little piece of his mind, making it abundantly clear he didn’t condone their behavior.

“I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FUCKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE!” he wrote in all caps. “BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FUCK WITH THAT.”

Tyler added he felt the way they behaved reflected poorly on him and the Camp Flog Gnaw crowd.

“THIS NIGGA DID FEEL NO WAYS!” he continued. “SONG IS BEAUTIFUL. ALSO, MOSTLY EVERYONE WAS HAVING A GREAT TIME, THOSE SHITS IN THE FRONT AREA WERE THE ONES BEING MAD RUDE, WHICH, I CAN SEE WHY, BUT, NAH, FUCK THAT, YALL REPRESENTED ME AND FLOG TO MY GUEST AND MADE US LOOK SOOO ENTITLED AND TRASH.”

The IGOR mastermind also noted he felt like he was seeing cancel culture offline, while defending Drake at the same time.

“THAT SHIT WAS LIKE MOB MENTALITY AND CANCEL CULTURE IN REAL LIFE AND I THINK THAT SHIT IS FUCKING TRASH,” he wrote. NIGGA DID FEEL NO WAYS! THAT SONG IS BEAUTIFUL! MOST GUYS DONT DO ALBUM CUTS! THANK YOU AUBREY!”

Tyler ended his tirade on a high note.

“BUT HEY MAN SHIT HAPPENS, ALL JOKES ASIDE SHIT LOWKEY FUNNY HAHAHA,” he continued. “ASIDE FROM THAT, HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GOOD TIME. AGAIN, NO ARREST NO BULLSHIT MAN A LOT OF PEOPLE ENJOYED IT, THANKS AGAIN!”

He added, “AGAIN, THANK YOU DRAKE! ( IM FUCKING PISSED HOTLINE BLING WAS NEXT THATS MY FUCKING SHIT IM GONNA PLAY THAT IN THE SHOWER RIGHT NOW),” appearing to confirm Drake ended his set early.
