Spice 1, Lil Eazy E, MC Eiht & Nawfside Outlaw Put Rappers On Notice With "Studio Gangster"

Posted by

HipHopDX Premiere – West Coast gangsta rap vet Spice 1 is back with a vengeance and he’s brought MC Eiht, Lil Eazy E and Nawfside Outlaw along with him. Ahead of Spice 1’s forthcoming Platinum O.G. album, the outspoken artist has dropped “Studio Gangster,” one of the project’s singles.

Over the Eazy E classic “Real Muthaphukkin G’s,” the four seasoned MCs deliver brutal bars blasting the mainstream rap that infiltrates the industry.

“I’m dropping Platinum O.G. to remind the rap game that I’m still here and show everybody why I’m your favorite rapper’s favorite gangster rapper,” Spice 1 tells HipHopDX. “The production on the album is banging and Ryan and I worked hard to bring you that real shit.”

Of course, Spice 1 has provided commentary on the current state of rap before. Last April, he tagged Lil Uzi Vert, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd in an Instagram post along with the words “fruitloops” and “fruitcakes.”

But hey, that’s just part of his character.

Platinum O.G. boasts 22 tracks and appearances from Too $hort, Devin The Dude, Rappin 4-Tay, Hussein Fatal, Big Syke, Big Mike, Richie Rich, B-Legit, Yukmouth and The Outlawz.

Check back for a full interview Spice 1 soon. In the meantime, check out “Studio Gangster” up top.
