Papoose is back with the third and last single from his upcoming Underrated album. Titled “Precious Jewel,” the track features Musiq SoulChild and production courtesy of Ron Brownz. As suggested by the song’s title, “Precious Jewel” is an ode to Pap’s wife Remy Ma and the magic of black love.
“Sometimes I wished it was me locked up instead of her/Swear to god I almost died the day they sentenced her,” he spits, a reference to Remy’s 2008 assault conviction and subsequent prison sentence.

“Precious Jewel” follows the two previously tracks — the DJ Premier-produced “Numerical Slaughter” and “The Golden Child” featuring Remy and Angelica Vila.
Underrated is expected to arrive this Friday (February 15) via EMPIRE/Honorable Records. The project boasts contributions from a laundry list of notable names, including Preemo, Statik Selektah, Pete Rock and Casanova.
