While “The Scotts” marks Cudi’s first time at No. 1, the track is Scott’s third entry to reach the pinnacle of the Hot 100.

The Cactus Jack founder hit No. 1 twice, accomplishing the feat with “Sicko Mode” in 2018 and “Highest In The Room” in 2019. Cudi’s previous peak was No. 3, which he attained with “Day ‘N’ Nite” in 2009.

Cudder and LaFlame’s collaborative cut premiered at the latter’s Fortnite virtual concert on April 23. The digital performance broke a record for the video game with an estimated 12.3 million players participating in the event.
