The Atlanta native recently hinted about new music from the rap trio in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX.

“I can’t give too much away but like I mentioned, I’m always working and recording, thinking about what’s next,” he states. “All I can say is stay tuned. We’ve got some exciting things coming up on the music side, as well as what I’m doing with Martell. You can always expect me to stay unapologetic and continue to change the game.”

Shmurda was arrested on a litany of charges, including conspiracy to commit murder, in 2014. He eventually agreed to a plea deal in 2016 and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Although, he was credited with almost two years of time, allowing his parole to arrive in 2020.
