What can you give a perennial Forbes list member who can buy whatever he wants? Christian “King” Combs decided to go the sentimental route for his dad Sean “Diddy” Combs — but with diamonds.
The 21-year old rapper presented a diamond-encrusted portrait made of 100,000 stones to his father for his 50th birthday. After the unveiling and applause, it’s safe to say the Hip Hop mogul seemed pleased with the gift.

“That’s me and you, baby boy, that’s me and you!” he shouted in a clip of the portrait’s presentation.
Earlier this year, Puffy posted the same picture of himself and his son to highlight their resemblance.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY POPS !! Aka my HERO, MY TWIN ! I LOVE YOU,” the younger Combs wrote in an Instagram post.
But the family gifts didn’t stop there. Diddy also posted a purchase from his mother Janice Combs, who bought him a brand new Cadillac Escalade. The Bad Boy Records founder jumped up and down once he saw a video of his new luxury ride.
Industry vets such as Nas, Mary J. Blige and DJ Khaled were among the other notable names celebrating the mogul’s birthday on social media.
