The Game Isn’t Here For “Snitches” Getting Record Deals

Posted by

Los Angeles, CA – The Game is one of the many rappers who have denounced Tekashi 6ix9ine for his “snitching” ways. When the veteran spitter was coming up, there was a firm “no-snitch” policy and anyone who didn’t abide by the rules was handled appropriately.

So, when the news broke 6ix9ine was reportedly offered a $10 million record deal despite his cooperation with the federal government, it was somewhat perplexing. How Sway?

In a since-deleted Instagram post, The Game appeared to be in disbelief as well.

Underneath a photo that read, “It used to be #SnitchesGetStitches. These days it’s #SnitchesGetRecordDeals,” he wrote, “SMF49ERHATOFF. #SendNiggasToPrisonForever #TattleTellerHeadAhhBoy #BackToWatchinTheGame #GenerationSofterThanAMarthaStewartFaceCloth.”

6ix9ine took the witness stand last month in the case against alleged Nine Trey gang members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. As a result of his testimony, they were both convicted of multiple felonies.

The 23-year-old Brooklynite was initially looking at a minimum of 47 years in prison but because of his cooperation, he could be out as early as the top of 2020.
