Broward County, FL – Polarizing rapper XXXTENTACION was shot and killed exactly one year ago on June 18, 2018 during what police believe was a botched robbery.
Now, his team has announced a new documentary about his brief but controversial life will arrive in the near future. A trailer was posted to X’s Instagram account on Tuesday (June 18) along with the caption, “Documentary coming soon.”

X was gunned down outside of RIVA Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Florida. The owners of the motorcycle dealership shared their deep sorrow via Twitter shortly after his death along with countless others.

In the wake of X’s passing, several of his releases have been certified multi-platinum, including “Moonlight,” “SAD!” and “Changes.” X’s debut album, ?, and his posthumous release, Skins, both topped the Billboard 200 as well.
No release date for the upcoming documentary has been revealed.
