Bronx, NY – J. Prince is adamant he knows who robbed YBN Almighty Jay over the weekend — and if he’s right, the alleged thieves are responsible for a slew of violence across the Bronx.

The Rap-A-Lot Records mogul took to Instagram on Monday (March 11) to share a video of the incident and at the same time, issue a call-to-action for Cardi B, Fat Joe, Funkmaster Flex, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Mysonne, Fred The Godson, Remy Ma, Swizz Beatz — basically any notable industry figures from the Bronx.

“Mob Ties Call To My Real Street Niggas Around The World But Especially On The East Coast In The Bronx,” he captioned the video. “There’s A Clown By The Name Of Zae And His Crew Who Want To Become Famous By Bragging About Robbing Rap Industry Niggas.

“They Recently Bragged About Robbing The Artist YBN Almighty Jay Whom I’m Invested In. They’ve Robbed Him Of His Money And Jewelry Including A Rap-A-Lot Piece. So Therefore They Have Robbed A Piece Of Me.”

Prince — who is beyond well connected in the music industry — also pointed out it was an ideal moment for the Hip Hop community to come together and put a stop to the crimes Zae and his crew are allegedly committing.

“This Is A Perfect Opportunity To Execute Our Unity Where We Don’t Allow Moment Thinkers To Muddy The Water Over The Movement,”he continued. “With That Being Said To The Homies In The Bronx If Any Of These Clowns Are Yall’s Family Or Friends Speak Now So We Can Get An Understanding.

“To Ignore This Is A Recipe For Disaster. Other Than That It’s These Clowns Vs The Realest Niggas In Every Hood Around The World And That’s The Meaning Of Mob Ties.”

During an episode of HipHopDX’s Soulful Sundays series, Prince explained how Almighty Jay was basically a part of his family. In fact, he refers to Jay as his “son.”

Almighty Jay was robbed during a vicious street fight on Saturday (March 9). The attackers made off with his wallet, a YBN chain and his shoes.
