Las Vegas, NV – DJ Jazzy Jay, Cut Chemist, DJ Scratch and DJ Koca were among the talented turntable whisperers at the Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas on Monday night (January 7). They were all on deck to check out the new Technics SL-1200MK7s, the latest in the company’s iconic SL-1200 direct drive turntable series and first updated version in roughly nine years.
According to a press release, the new model boasts a coreless direct drive motor to prevent cogging and rotation irregularity as well as a microcomputer for advanced motor control accuracy. The official release date and price has yet to be revealed.
