Australia – Cardi B came to the defense of her publicist Patientce Foster after the PR rep clashed with photographers in Australia over the weekend.

The incident occurred while Cardi’s team attempted to shield her from paparazzi at an airport. Things went sideways when a woman remarked, “No wonder your husband left you,” leading to a heated confrontation with Foster.

The verbal faceoff led to criticism on social media and even resulted in a Daily Mail story claiming Cardi had a “diva tantrum.” In response, the “Bodak Yellow” creator made it clear that Foster has her undying support.

“Let me tell y’all something about my publicist,” Cardi said in a since-deleted post. “Y’all love saying, ‘Oh she’s ghetto, she’s this.’ My publicist is for me! My publicist is a publicist that do things my way and fits my personality.”

She continued, “You know when I first started, your faves — their publicist — they didn’t want to take me as a client. And she was working in one of the biggest publicist company. And you know what they told her? ‘Don’t take her, she’s a reality star. Nobody’s gonna take her serious.’ And she still work with me, got me my first magazine cover, changed my image. Not only is she my publicist, she’s my friend. She was there when I gave birth to my daughter, everything. That’s my bitch, that’s my homegirl.”

Cardi also said she actually wished Foster would’ve been more hostile to the woman at the airport.

“I am mad at Patientce,” she stated. “Wanna know why I’m mad at Patientce? Cause she should’ve spit in that fucking lady’s face. That’s why. So don’t fucking tell me about my bitch, that’s my bitch. And she’s been doing a great fucking job and I thank her every single fucking day. Thank you.”

Cardi traveled to Australia to perform at the Origins Fields Festival on Sunday (December 30) and the Sydney-based Field Day 2019 on Tuesday (January 1).
