Two Arrests Made In Shooting Incident Outside Tekashi 6ix9ine Celebration

New York, NY – Two men — 33-year-old Zachary Bunce and 29-year-old Faheem Walter — have been arrested for a shooting outside of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s post-sentencing celebration. They were both hit with gang assault charges, according to Page Six.

Police believe Bunce and Walter arrived at the Philippe Chow restaurant on Madison Avenue in New York City on Friday night (October 26) and tried to get in to where 6ix9ine was having dinner with his manager. When the rapper’s security turned the men away, Bunce and Walter soon returned to the upscale dining establishment where all hell broke loose.

Cops said Walter threw a chair at a security guard. Consequently, the guard pulled out his licensed gun and shot Walter twice in the stomach.

6ix9ine was not involved in the altercation.

One of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s bodyguards was reportedly shot in the abdomen following a post-sentencing celebration on Friday night (October 26) in New York City.

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine and his entourage were at a midtown restaurant where they were celebrating his recent court victory. A security guard — who was also an off-duty cop — was ordered to watch over a 10 Project Records executive attending the celebration.

An argument reportedly broke out between 6ix9ine’s team and the guard. Someone in the Brooklyn rapper’s crew allegedly grabbed a chair and smashed it over the executive’s security guard who then allegedly took out his gun and fired four shots, hitting 6ix9ine’s bodyguard in the stomach.

The bodyguard was taken to the hospital, rushed into surgery and is currently in stable condition.

A retired police officer happened to be nearby when the gunfire erupted and reportedly fired his weapon in an attempt to stop the suspect.

The incident likely caused an abrupt end to 6ix9ine’s celebratory mood. The 21-year-old was back in his home state for a hearing on Friday morning where he was facing repercussions stemming from his 2015 child sexual assault case.

He was given four years probation, 1,000 hours of community service and a directive to stay away from gang members and cease any gang affiliations.
