21 Savage announced he’s providing a free financial literacy program called “Bank Account At Home” on Wednesday (July 1).

According to a press release, 21 first launched the Bank Account program on The Ellen Show in 2018. Now in its third year, 21 has spent the last three months looking for a solution for kids and their families to have access to the program during the coronavirus pandemic.

Not only will 21 offer the “Bank Account At Home” program for free, he’ll also take his own Juma program online, cover costs for virtual learning and pay wages of his students who’ve been furloughed as a result of the pandemic.

In addition, he’s offering free wifi and tablets to kids in Atlanta’s Zone 6 neighborhood through his Chime partnership in an effort to support Mayor Bottoms’ #ATLStrong Relief Fund.

“The generous support of 21 Savage will go a long way toward the well-being of these young people,” Juma Atlanta Site Director Robert Lewis said. “Not only will it help them stay afloat during this crisis, but it also provides a glimmer of hope and the realization that they can count on the support of their community at this time of need.”

21 Savage Explains ‘Savage Mode’ Sequel Delay

Savage believes “financial literacy should be made available for free to the next generation to empower them to succeed with the right tools on their journey.”

Through the “Bank Account At Home” initiative, elementary school students can learn the basic concepts of money management, middle school students can find out more about how to start planning your financial future, while high school students can explore different lessons around budgeting and entrepreneurship.

The “Bank Account At Home” name comes from 21’s first Billboard Hot 100 hit “Bank Account,” which arrived in 2017.

21 is featured on Gucci Mane’s forthcoming album So Icy Summer alongside Lil Baby, Future and Young Thug. The project is expected to arrive on Friday (July 3).
