Released on October 4, HipHopDX’s pick for 2019 R&B Album of the Year debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with 134,000 equivalent album units earned. It set a Billboard record as the biggest streaming week for an R&B album by a woman with 154.7 million on-demand streams. Beyonce held the previous record with 2016’s Lemonade racking up 115.2 million on-demand streams.

“Officially platinum. Thanks y’all,” she wrote on Instagram.

In the months since Over It‘s release, Walker picked up a BET Soul Train Award for Best New Artist and became open about her social anxiety, which caused her to cancel most of her First And Last Tour.

“Hey y’all as you know, I have been very open about my struggle with social anxiety,” she wrote fans on Twitter. “I want to continue to be healthy and to make music for y’all, so I have decided to cut down some of the dates on the tour. I’m grateful for every single one of you. I hope that you understand.”
