Veteran radio personality Angie Martinez has revealed she was recently involved in a serious car accident that resulted in multiple injuries. On Monday morning (November 4), Martinez sent out a tweet confirming she had both a fractured lumbar and shattered vertebrae.
“I’ve always believed in angels and mine was with me the other morning,” she wrote. “I was in a severe car accident and sustained a fractured lumbar and shattered vertebrae. I’m recovering and will be for some time, but I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to do that.
