Los Angeles, CA – Kamaiyah was reportedly arrested for felony discharge of a firearm earlier this month. According to TMZ, the Bay Area-bred MC was inside a movie screening room at a San Fernando Valley apartment complex last month when her gun went off.
In video footage obtained by police, a woman authorities believe is Kamaiyah pulls out a handgun from her bag and fires a round into the air. Law enforcement sources say the shot appears to be accidental and noted she wasn’t involved in any type of altercation beforehand.

Although the 27-year-old quickly fled the scene, she was arrested a couple weeks ago after a warrant was issued. Once cops located her, they reportedly found what they think is the same weapon used in the incident.
She was eventually released on $35,000 bond.

This isn’t the first time Kamaiyah has found herself on the wrong side of the law. In May 2018, she was arrested at the Bradley International Airport in Connecticut for a disturbance.
She allegedly became irate after TSA agents asked her to remove her head cover so they could inspect it. However, she refused to take off the item and used “vulgar language” toward the TSA agents and a trooper who was on the scene.
She was ultimately arrested and charged with interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace.
