Los Angeles, CA – Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer” movement is in full effect, but its omnipresence didn’t stop the Los Angeles Police Department from breaking up some of the fun. According to TMZ, the LAPD shut down the video shoot for Megan’s new single “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.

Cops reportedly put a stop to the shoot last Friday (August 9) after discovering Hot Girl Meg didn’t have the permits to film at a house in the Los Angeles neighborhood Mount Olympus. Law enforcement sources said someone called the police, who discovered the shoot was lacking the proper paperwork.

Thanks to the quick fix, Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer” video is still on schedule for its original release plans.
