50 Cent Disses G-Unit Members Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo & Yes, Young Buck

New York, NY – 50 Cent was evidently in a reflective mood on Wednesday (July 3). He took to his favorite social media platform to share a photo of himself looking over the cityscape and managed to diss his former G-Unit members Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck in the process.

“Some people are not built to make it, their habits and instincts will pull them right back to struggle,” he wrote in the caption. “you put them on, they fuck up the package.”

In the comment section, he got more specific and called out G-Unit for their perceived failures, blaming them for not being as successful as he is.

“Do you realize G-unit only did 5 shows together with out me,” he added. “In 16 years, every time you saw them together it was my show. Now that’s a big bag they fucked up.” In another comment, he reiterated they messed up “the whole package.”

G-Unit began their ascent in the music industry in the early 2000s, led by founding members 50, Banks and Yayo who were all longtime friends at the time. Following their 2003 debut album, Beg for Mercy, the group was seemingly destined for superstardom. The album sold over 4 million copies in the United States and was certified 4x-platinum by RIAA.

But prison stints and tensions in the group got the best of them, and Buck was kicked out in 2008, several years after joining the crew. Six years later, they reconciled to perform at the 2014 Summer Jam. Over the past several months, however, 50 has been relentlessly trolling Buck about his alleged relationship with a transgender woman.

Buck returned fire with two diss tracks last month — “The Story Of Foofy” and “Foofy Freestyle.”

50’s latest post indicates there won’t be another G-Unit reunion anytime soon — if ever.
