Toronto, Canada – A decade after its release, Drake’s debut mixtape So Far Gone is hitting streaming services for the first time. The Toronto superstar revealed the news in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday (February 12), reflecting on everything that’s changed over the past 10 years.

In the caption, the 6 God shouted out Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, Oliver El-Khatib, Niko and his mentors Bun B and Lil Wayne. He also credited Kanye West for nurturing his career — despite their recent Twitter beef.

“@kanyewest a decade ago I rapped over your beat cause you just made the best shit and even though you stay wildin’ on twitter these days I will never forget what you contributed to the game and my career…Portia I don’t know your IG but a decade ago you told me to rap over June 27th and bonded me and Houston Texas forever.

“@jas.prince a decade ago you took a chance on MySpace and introduced me to Wayne…@liltunechi a decade ago you took me out of Toronto and gave me the biggest blessing anybody has ever given me…I will never forget anybody involved in this journey even if you don’t fit in this caption…So Far Gone streaming everywhere for the first time ever Thursday.”

Last December, ‘Ye put Drake on blast for requesting clearance for “Say What’s Real,” which sampled Kanye’s 808s and Heartbreak track “Say You Will.” Evidently, that sample cleared.

The So Far Gone mixtape is expected to arrive on Thursday (February 14).

The mixtape is not to be confused with the So Far Gone EP, which was also released in 2009 and included just seven tracks.

Revisit the EP below.
