New York, NY – Fans of Tekashi 6ix9ine are getting a look at the Brooklyn native behind bars for the first time since his arrest last November. His current girlfriend had a chance to visit the controversial artist and captured the moment in an Instagram photo.

6ix9ine is presently being held at a New York prison as he awaits his September 4 trial. He was arrested on multiple felonious charges stemming from his alleged involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
Last month, 6ix9ine entered a not guilty plea in his racketeering case. His legal team insists they won’t take any type of plea deal.
The platinum-selling rapper is charged with six felonies, including using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to, or possessing a firearm in furtherance of, a crime of violence, which was discharged.
If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.
