Los Angeles, CA – The nominations for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards have arrived — and Hip Hop undeniably leads the charge. This time, the number of nominees in the four general fields has expanded from five to eight in an attempt to have more diversity.

Thanks to his work on the Black Panther soundtrack, Kendrick Lamar has racked up eight nominations in categories such as Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Rap Performance.
