Tekashi 6ix9ine Expected To Be Re-Sentenced In 2015 Child Sex Crime Case

New York, NY – As Tekashi 6ix9ine sits in jail awaiting his trial — or bail, whichever comes first — he keeps taking hits. According to PageSix, prosecutors and 6ix9ine’s lawyer met with Judge Felicia Mennin on Friday (November 30) for a private meeting.

They decided he will likely be re-sentenced to time served for posting a video of a 13-year-old girl engaging in a sex act. The 2015 case was seemingly closed in October when Mennin sentenced the 22-year-old Brooklyn native to 1,000 hours of community service and four years probation. Prosecutors, however, wanted 6ix9ine sentenced to one to 4 years behind bars.

A source reportedly said that because he’s locked up in his federal racketeering case, he can’t be on probation. Consequently, he’ll get time served.

6ix9ine’s trial is scheduled for September 4, 2019.
