According to TMZ, Diddy was one of the few who delivered a eulogy in Porter’s honor. Blige, Dallas Austin, Bishop Noel Jones, and Porter’s son Quincy Brown also shared a few words about Porter.

Diddy shared some of his sentiments on Instagram, writing, “Today we lay to rest our ANGEL. Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you.”

Porter’s lifeless body was discovered in her Los Angeles area home on November 15 at the age of 47. Although emergency dispatch services were initially called to the home with reports of a cardiac arrest, her cause of death is currently unknown.

Diddy and Porter dated off and on for over a decade. They have three biological children together — Christian (also known as rapper King Combs) and 11-year-old twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James — and Diddy helped raised her son with Al. B. Sure!, Quincy.

Diddy was understandably distraught following Porter’s death and expressed those emotions in an another Instagram post.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” he wrote last week. “But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship.

“We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
