Raleigh, CA – Two of the best North Carolinians to ever clutch a microphone in Rapsody and J. Cole have joined forces for some soulful Hip Hop via the new song “Sojourner” — named after the unheralded Civil Rights freedom fighter.
And fittingly, the record is produced by the head Blue Devil himself, 9th Wonder.
The insightful track is slated to appear on the upcoming Jamla Is the Squad II compilation album, that will also feature the outside talents of Black Thought, Big K.R.I.T., Sir, Busta Rhymes, Pharoahe Monch and David Banner, among others.
